Remove layer lines from your 3D prints

You can remove layer lines from your 3D prints very easily. We made a short video with samples and the process required. It is a process that has been around for quite some time, it's called Acetone vapour smoothing. When combined with the right part it really does transform your prints into professional looking pieces.

Here is what you will need to get started;

1. *ABS or ASA prints

2. Paper towel

3. A metal stock pot (or chamber that wont be affected by Acetone)

4. Acetone

5. Magnets to attach the paper towel

6. Squirt bottle

7. A platform to place your prints above the Acetone in to bottom of the chamber

*Please note some ABS and I presume ASA filaments will not react to this process due to some of the additives in the product (Is it really ABS?). As an example e-Sun ABS will not smooth.
