PLA (polylactic acid) filament for 3d printing is a versatile, easy-to-use material and is usually used in 3D printing. PLA filament is bioplastic, which means that it is a renewable and biodegradable material. As a biodegradable material, it is much better for the environment, especially in comparison with petrochemical alternatives (e.g. ABS). For superior results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 200–230°C and the printing table should be heated to 50-60°C. Please note that the temperature range of the print media may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.
Our PLA filament for printers is specially designed to make it easy to use for all beginners and novices. We recommend that a newcomer keeps using the PLA printing filament because it is truly the most accessible and easy to use. It is a good material because it has excellent properties, and it does not shrink when printing. In addition, it fits nicely to the printing table. ABS filament is a great alternative, but it does shrink, so you'll have more problems with the grip of the filament on the printing table. PLA filament is a material that is distinguished by a gloss finish, and therefore it is also used for the printing of decorative elements.
Our PLA filament is compatible with almost all FDM 3D printers.
PLA filament is the best-selling product out of all the 3D filaments used for 3D printing with a good reason, since it is used in a wide range of 3D printing applications. Its advantages are that it is odourless, easy to print and does not require a heated table when printing.
